Pre-Treatment Care
- Avoid blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 5–7 days if possible
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment
- Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to treatment
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup
- Inform your provider of all current medications
Post-Treatment Care
- Expect swelling and possible bruising for 2–5 days — normal and expected
- Avoid massage or pressure to the treated area for 24–48 hours
- Avoid heat, strenuous exercise, and alcohol for 24–48 hours
- Sleep with head elevated the first night to minimize swelling
- Final results visible once all swelling resolves (1–2 weeks)

How is facial balancing different from just getting filler in one spot?
Facial balancing treats the face as a unified system. Rather than adding volume to one area and creating imbalance, we assess all ratios and proportions and address the areas that create the most harmonious impact for your specific anatomy.
How long does filler last?
Duration varies by area. Deeper structural areas like cheeks and chin tend to last 12–18 months. More superficial areas may metabolize faster at 6–12 months.

Is filler painful?
Topical numbing is applied before treatment. Most HA filler products also contain lidocaine. Patients typically describe mild pressure and brief discomfort.
